3. Have an attitude adjustment. I think most would agree that having a positive attitude makes for a smoother running working atmosphere. It’s good for you and it’s good for your co-workers. I think Zig Ziglar once said “it is your attitude more than your aptitude that determines your altitude.” You will be rewarded when you go above and beyond what you’re asked to do.
4. Communicate, communicate, communicate. Regardless of what you do there will be times when it’s necessary to communicate with other people. There’s nothing more frustrating than when the communication channel is not open. You get mixed messages or no messages at all. That’s not good for business or relationships. Dale Carnegie said in his book, “How to Win Friends and InfluencePeople,” in communicating with others listening is very valuable. He further said that listening “is the highest compliment we can pay anyone.” If you want to communicate well be a good listener! Paul J Meyer said this about communication, “Communication–the human connection–is the key to personal and career success.”
