Where would you begin? Jim Rohn in his book, “Seven Strategies For Wealth & Happiness…”, will put you on the right path. So then you can give some thought to what you want out of life, what do you want to achieve? Once you decide that then set out to achieve it in a SMART way.
I’ve read about SMART goal setting before. S. J. Scott wrote about S.M.A.R.T. Goals Made Simple. It begins by being Specific, identifying your goal as best as possible. Is it Measurable or Meaningful? Is it long term or short term? You want some way to measure it. Will it take years, months, weeks or even days? Don’t make it so long term that you couldn’t possibly achieve it. Put it in bite size chunks so you can see some results early on. Is it Attainable? Do you want to walk on the moon or go to Mars? Or perhaps you want to earn a 6-7 figure annual income in 3-4 years? One would be easier to attain than the other. What kind of action are you going to need to do to follow through?
