A mid-afternoon snack could include some non-starchy veggies such as broccoli, green beans, asparagus, cucumber, celery or carrots, 1 tablespoon of almond butter or 2 tablespoons of seeds or nuts.
An evening snack could include 1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries or the same fruits from the morning or 2 tablespoons of seeds or nuts.
It’s also recommended you drink one half your weight in ounces of water per day. For example, if you weigh 140 pounds drink 70 ounces of water throughout the day. For the water we used these 22 ounce bottles.
